Yun-Jie Li was born and raised in a town in Anhui province, China. She received her bachelor’s degree from Jianghan University. She is interested in biochemical experiments. In 2017, She studied pharmaceutical engineering from the East China University of Science and Technology, and continued to study in the group of Xiao-Peng He.
李云洁在中国安徽的一个城镇中出生长大。她在江汉大学获得学士学位。出于对生物化学实验有兴趣，她从2017年就读华东理工大学的制药工程专业，在贺晓鹏课题组继续学习。
